First up is Mean Streak by Sandra Brown. Sandra writes a fab fast paced romantic suspense and this one looks to be just as good. On Amazon it is described as 'a heart-pounding new thriller about a Texas Ranger whose past resurfaces and threatens to destroy those he loves most.'

August also sees the release of the latest book in James Patterson's Private series, Private India. This book takes the reader to Mumbai, India where PI Santosh Wagh is on the hunt with his team for a serial killer who has been murdering women in a chilling ritual. Patterson teams up with Ashwin Sanghi for Private book number 8, I always enjoy the Private books as it's great to see Patterson take his characters to different places.

The Good Girl by Mary Kubica just sounds like a totally awesome debut and it has had a lot of hype. Read the blurb, sounds good yes?
I've been following her for the past few days. I know where she buys her groceries, where she has her dry cleaning done, where she works. I don't know the colour of her eyes or what they look like when they're scared. But I will.
Mia Dennett can't resist a one-night stand with the enigmatic stranger
she meets in a bar.
But going home with him might turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia's
life...
An addictively suspensful and tautly written thriller, The Good Girl is a
compulsive debut that reveals how, even in the perfect family, nothing is as it
seems...
This actually came out at the end of July but hey who cares.

Personal is book 19 in Lee Child's, Jack Reacher series and I loved it. Jack comes to London. Yay! Amazon says This new heartstopping, nailbiting book in Lee Child's number-one bestselling series takes Reacher across the Atlantic to Paris - and then to London. The stakes have never been higher - because this time, it's personal.
